START PAC^® ONE™ The smallest and lightest 26V micro starting unit for aircraft on

the market, this light duty air portable/carry-on START PAC® Lithium-ion weighs only

12lbs/5.4kg. Providing emergency starts for turbine or piston engines, this unit is

designed for engine starting only. Designed to be used with voltage sensitive

aircraft that cannot accept 28V external starters, this START PAC ONE

jump-starting system is small but mighty.

This START PAC® will provide a faster and cooler engine start than most ship’s aircraft batteries (the turbine is spooled to more revolutions per second before fuel is injected). Thus, turbine life will be extended because there is less stress on the starter and other engine components. This will preserve the aircraft’s costly batteries and help lower operating costs. Your on-board battery can then be saved for emergency use only.

As it’s super portable, this starting unit can be carried on-board easily and it comes into its own when out in the field, securing all your engine starts and ensuring that you don’t experience any downtime, even in remote locations. Certain aircraft will also allow the ship’s generator to back charge a GPU. In this manner, the START PAC® can be recharged in the field without an AC source indefinitely. Once back at home base, it can also be used as a light duty jump starter.

Virtually maintenance free, this lightweight solution is unique in that it addresses requirements across civil, commercial and military markets. The START PAC ONE Jump Starting System can be used for helicopters and fixed wing aircraft as well as military UAVs.

The environmentally responsible, low VOC powder coating protects the case of the unit from wear, tear and poor weather conditions. Additionally, the START PAC ONE comes standard as a complete set with a patent pending aircraft cable adaptor kit, proprietary external charger and carrying case.
